Liz's comments:-Buying cards with plain inserts makes them very versatile. Occassionally we want to send somebody a Christmas card but don't feel it appropriate to wish them "happy Christmas" as they may have just had a bereavement in the family for instance. Buying blank cards solves this problem as you can write your own, more appropriate message.
